I have never admired the thought of Gandhi but I can’t endorse his murder. We can’t deny Gandhi’s contribution in arousing the Indian people for freedom movement while Godse and Hindu Mahasabha had contributed only by dividing the people on religious bases.

Brijlalji,whatever the difference of opinion may remained,no one can justify the killing of Gandhi.

Subhash Chandra Bose also had different strategy and view and even won the congress president election even against wishes of Gandhi.

He even formed Azad Hind Sena but he always had respect for Gandhi.

Why the person like Nathu Ram Godse didn’t joined Azad Hind Sena?the answer is very simple because it was secular.

There are so many books on Godse,I suggest you go through ”The man who killed Gandhi” by Manohar Mulgaonkar.

Also one thing is sure,people like Godse you may still find easily on streets but person like Gandhi comes only once.

Gandhiji really could not understand how shrewd Jinnah was.Gandhi-the representative of Indian mindset-totally failed to understand the game plan of Muslims under the leadership of Jinnah.

Gandhi was a very good soul-a Mahatma.He was shrewd too but not shrewd enough to understand what the real designs of Muslim leaders are! He behaved in a very naive fashion to tackle the grim realities of his time.

The same mistake we are committing once again.The same type of mindset has once again allowed the rise of Islamic extremists with same divisive mentality.The so-called secular minds are simply mute spectators.One day when VHP and Bajrang Dal or any other aggressive Hindu organization tackle these Muslim organizations head on,it will be the last day for all secular minds.The things will then go out of control.

These secular minds never react at proper time.They become vocal when things go out of control.

I dont want to compare Gandhiji and Nathuram Godse as a man, i dont want to justify the murder of gandhiji, i want to compare only the ideology and the thoughts of Gandhiji and Nathuram Godse as a politician.

As a man Gandhiji was Great and Real Mahatma, but if Gandhi’s political steps was right than why Netaji oppose Gandhiji and leave the Congress, if Gandhiji was right than why he cant satisfied Muslim League and Jinnah, if Gandhiji was Right than why became India’s partition.

Thank you Brij Lal, Kindly take tips to write blogs. Let it be short,precise and concise. Understand your audiance. Give them want they want. Don’t thrust what you want. Make your audience understand the very core that you want to tell them.

There are some controversy regarding the seperatist Jinnah. Jinnah wished seperate nation because there was a sharp,bitter rift and blood shed between Hindus and Muslims. The majority Muslims wanted a seperate Nation for which Gandhjee opposed. He felt that both Hindus and Muslims are two eyes of India. But Jinnah did not feel so because he was not Gandhi. Jinnah felt he could end this communal war after a seperation. But he could not achieve this during his life time nor his followers did till this date.

Brijlal,a fellow who assasinated the Mahathma is a curse to our nation. I think the potograph is of Nathuram Godse next to Gandhijee.If that is so it is a shameful affair. Can you imagine such shameful thigs are taking place in our (pavithra bhoomi)sacred land?

I disagree with your view Mr Shafee.You have avoided presenting the real reason.The real reason for separate nation is there in the speech delivered by Jinnah :

At a League conference in Lahore in 1940, Jinnah said: ”Hindus and the Muslims belong to two different religions, philosophies, social customs and literature... It is quite clear that Hindus and Muslims derive their inspiration from different sources of history. They have different epics, different heroes and different episodes... To yoke together two such nations under a single state, one as a numerical minority and the other as a majority, must lead to growing discontent and final destruction of any fabric that may be so built up for the government of such a state.”
